BACK STORY, BUCK PARKER CAME TO US 3 YEARS AGO AND ASKED ME IF WE WOULD SELL HIS OILS TO OUR CUSTOMERS... EVEN IF HE TOLD US IT WAS GOLD IN A BOTTLE, WE AT L.P. GEAR HAVE TO TEST THE PRODUCT BEFORE WE WILL RECOMMEND THE PRODUCT TO OUR CUSTOMERS. WE DID THE ENTENSIVE TESTS ON BOTH THE 30W\60 GEAR LUBE & 75W-90 GEAR LUBES HE SUPPLIED... WE HERE AT L.P. GEAR ARE NOT MUCH HERE ON LOWER VISCOSITY GEAR LUBES "BUT" DAYTONA 1'S 30W-60 GEAR LUBE SURPASSED OUR EXPECTATIONS ON OUR DYNO & TRACK TESTING. NOT ONLY DID WE FIND THAT THE 30W-60 PERFORMED WELL AT TEMPERATURES ABOVE 180 DEGREE'S BUT OUT PERFORMED THE TESTED GEAR OILS AT TEMPERATURES AS LOW AS 70 DEGREES, WHICH MEANT TO US THAT EARLY SPRING RACES & LATE FALL RACES WHERE THE REAREND AND TRANSMSSION TEMPERATURES WERE COOLER THAN NORMAL ... WE FOUND THAT THE 30W-60 WOULD GIVE YOU AN ADVANTAGE WHILE QUALIFYING AND STILL NOT LOOSE ANY LUBRICITY IN THE OILS WHEN THEY GOT UP TO OPERATING TEMPERATURES I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE DAYTONA GEAR LUBE PRODUCTS!
